Canada Summer Job program approves over $120,000 grant for SuperChefs

SuperChefs Cookery for Kids Society was granted over $120,000 from the Canada Summer Job program towards the hiring of youth for its Surrey SuperChefs Cookery camps again this year.
SuperChefs is celebrating its 15th Year Anniversary and has some exciting plans in store for the Surrey youth and families that have been fortunate enough to participate in this no-cost program, in partnership with the Surrey School District. The team of 20+ youth from UBC, SFU and other universities across Canada are receiving incredible training they will be passing on to the 8-12 year old children in the program. One of the training sessions included pizza making from Canada’s Pizza Champion Giuseppe Cortinovis. This ensures the children completing the SuperChefs Cookery program in Surrey are well versed in pizza making from the finest pizza chef our country ... MAGNIFICO!
