SuperChefs Founder awarded Canada 150 Community Award

To celebrate the historic event of Confederation's 150th birthday, on December 3, 2017 Randeep S. Sarai, Member of Parliament for Surrey-Centre, recognized exceptional members of our community at a ceremony held at Surrey City Hall. M.P.
Sarai gave out an awards in each of the following categories including Entrepreneurialism, Leadership, Service, Volunteerism, Heroism and Law enforcement. Special consideration was given to individuals who represented and expressed actions of inclusiveness and diversity, who supported the environment, and who displayed key Canadian values such as justice, equality, inclusion and democratic stewardship. An independent selection panel awarded the winners of each category, and Greg’s wife Nicole was happy to accept the award in Greg's absence to accept the Canada 150 Award. This is a wonderful way for the SuperChefs Cookery for Kids Society to celebrate their upcoming 10th year anniversary in 2018.
